Cardigan Bay Returning

AUCKLAND.

The champion pacer, Cardigan Bay, retired last year after becoming the first miUion-dollar stakewinner in harness racing history, will leave the United States about June 1 on his way home to New Zealand.

Mrs M. B. Dean, who raced Cardigan Bay in New Zealand and sold him to an American syndicate nn the condition that he came home when his racing days were over, said that she had received this advice from Cardigan Bay’s American trainer, S. Dancer. Tarport Paul, a stallion owned by Mr M. Tananbaum, the president of Yonkers Raceway, and destined for the stud in New Zealand, will accompany Cardigan Bay. The two horses will hive to spend six months in quarantine in England and should arrive in New Zealand towards the end of January.
