Pedestrian Injured
i Miss Rita Mary Burns, of 135 Worcester Street, was injured when a car struck her near the corner of Worcester Street and Oxford Terrace about 11.5 a.m. yesterday. Miss Burns was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital, where her condition last night was satisfactory.
