SPECIAL DOUBLE
"The Press" Special Service WELLINGTON. The T.A.B. double will operate a special concession double on the Wellington Trotting Cup on January 15, and the Wellington Cup. on January 18, said the board’s chairman (Mr R. A. Whyte) yesterday. The board will sell tickets for both legs of the double at the same time, as has been the case with all previous special doubles.
Tickets on the winner of the first leg coupled with a scratching in the second leg may be exchanged up to two hours before the running of the second leg, or failing this, the amount will be placed on the second leg off-course substitute. Selling on the special double will open on Tuesday, January 14.
