REFUGEES IN LAOS
Volunteer Aid Sought The National Council of Churches is appealing for volunteers to go to the assistance of thousands of Vietnamese refugees who have, fled across the border into Laos.
The council wants doctors with a minimum of two years working experience, agriculturists with two years field experience, education and women’s welfare workers with university degrees, and resettlement workers with experience in refugee and social case work.
Volunteers will be appointed for two years work with refugee service teams.
Those wishing to help should write to Mr F. G. Heard, the Director of Interehurch Aid, at Box 297, Christahuarch.
