Pump Trade Mission
(N.X. Pres, Assoctatlon) AUCKLAND, Nov. 5. A trade mission ■ from the British Pump Manufacturers’ Association arrived in Auckland today. "We’re not here solely to sell,’’ said Mr R. Saunders, secretary of the trade mission, “we’re here as practising engineers to meet other englneera and discuss prob-lems-Jtrouble-Shooters if you like.” New Zealand buys s2m worth of pumps from Britain gnnually—just under 40 per cent of Its total pump import value. The mission represents ail Classes of British pump manufacturers from those making small plastic pump devices used in home fish tanks to the complicated mechanisms used In nueleer power stations.
