Indoor Bowls Won By W. Trembath
Mrs N. Buckley almost caused a major upset when she reached the final of the champion-of champions indoor bowls tournament. After beating D. J. Stewart and T. Austin, both representative players In the preliminaries, she lost to W. Trembath after 13 ends, 7-8.
Eighty dub singles winners played off on Saturday.
A large field of 180 pairs contested the Farmers* Cup. .J. Rowe and Mrs Rowe both played consistent bowls to beat G. B. Champion and D. B. Cook in the final after the latter pair had finished an exciting semifinal against M. Lightfoot and Mrs Lightfoot. Results were:
