The touring New Zealand softballers scored their fourth and fifth successive wins against the United States Navy submarine section at Honolulu yesterday. The Navy batters said they had never before seen speed pitching approaching the pace of K. Herlihy and W. Massey. G. Tatterfield, the other New Zealand pitcher, was throwing into a warm breeze and did well to take nine strike-outs in the 90 degree heat. R. Rogers, G. Forsyth, P. Priddey and D. Sorenson belted long hits to set the pattern for the tourists. Scores were 8-0 and 11-0. The New Zealanders have played five games for no losses, scoring 43 runs to one. The team will leave for San Francisco tomorrow.
