Cash Cycling Handicap
F. R Hooper won the combined cash cycling club’s 50rnile handicap race from Halswell to Southbridge and return on Saturday. Riding off the 4min mark with T. C. Gibbes. Hooper caught the lOmin bunch just after the turn, and was with the front-markers as they raced through Prebbleton. However, there was one front-marker, p. R Bates, not with the bunch, but be was pulled back about a mile from the finish. Hooper sprinted in to win
C. D- Yaxley rode a good race off scratch to take fastest time after out-sprinting K. R. Jeffery. J. M. Vette took the fastest time for a junior. Results F. R. Hooper (4min), 2:8.0, 1: T.
