Dunn Relegated To Reserves

The Papanui centre, S. Dunn, who represented New Zealand in the world championship series earlier this season, has been relegated to the reserves for the Canterbury Rugby league team’s Northern Union Cup defence against Otago at the Show Grounds on Saturday.

B. Williams (Kaiapoi), who had been used as a utility back in previous provincial matches this season, has regained his position in the centres where he will partner B. W. Langton (Hornby). B Jager (Hornby) and M. R. Napier (Papanui), who will be making only his second representative appearance because of injury this season, have been preferred as the wings, where Dunn has played his last three games.

B. F. GlUman (Addington) will return to the team in place of the injured A. W. Thompson (Papanui) and R. S. Walker (Papanui) will be a reserve with Dunn.

J. G. Hales (Linwood). W. Morrison (Eastern Suburbs) and T. Williams (Hornby), have withdrawn from the Canterbury B team which will meet the Canterbury senior second division team in the curtain-raiser. The teams, announced by the convener (Mr E.
