No Quorum Of Creditors
Colin Paul Irving, a factory worker, who was adjudged bankrupt on August 7, had unsecured debts of >898.73, it was disclosed at a meeting of creditors held in the office of the Official Assignee (Mr J. B. K. Curran) yesterday. The meeting was adjourned sine die because of the lack of a quorum.
Reasons for bankruptcy were given as low wages when a joint family home was bought, being off work because of his wife’s confinement, a farm job not being up to expectations, the leasing of his home, and unemployment.
