Linwood Takes D.C.L. Shield
The defeat of Sydenham by University B on Saturday has ended competitive interest in the D.C.ti. Shield contest. Linwood. two points ahead with one round to be played, has won the shield. Sydenham's challenge failed against a University B side which hag played some good football this season, and
which has the distinction of being the only side to beat New Brighton, the championship winner. Saturday’s results were:— University B 16, Sydenham 11. Shirley 13. Albion 9. Linwood 14, Marist 5. Points:—
