France’s gold and convertible currency reserves dropped by the equivalent of $NZ8,839,880 in the week ending, August 8, The Bank of France has announced. The total reserves were SNZ4272m, a drop of over SNZS63m since the onset of the May-June industrial crisis.—Paris, Aug. 16.
