. x Sir,—You give much prominence to the words of a Roman Catholic priest in an antl-China outburst The Chinese got rid. of these people in 1949 for good rea--sons. They lived on the (at of the land.while the Chinese starved and died in their thousands: They surrounded their living quarters with high walls and lived in luxiiry with many Chinese servants, and they collected dying children from the streets to add to their numbers in heaven, and put their bodies in mass graves in their compounds. They insulted the Chinese philosophy by trying to Introduce a superstitious cult into the country. There is as much chance for; the old order to return to Chiba, as for a camel to io through the eye of a needle;—Yours, etc., P.J.A. August 5, 1968.
