Friendly Society Officers
The highest award of the Sons Of Temperance Friendly Society, the Past Most Worthy Patriarch's Jewel, was presented to Mr H. Ewart at the annual session of the national division of the society on Saturday. Officers elected at the session:—Past Most Worthy Patriarch and Director of Ceremonies, Mr H. Ewart; Past Most Worthy Patriarch, Mr W. L. Grenfell; Most Worthy Patriarch, Sister V. F. Kendall; secretary, Mr H. M. Tomlinson; treasurer, Mr S. J. Bultitude: associate, Mr N. R. James; chaplain, Mr R. H, Tizard; conductor, Mr F. H. Baird; sentinel, Mr N Green; trustees, Messrs F. W. Hitchings, E. J. Kiddey, J. H. G. Shaw; superintendent, Mr A. L. Rowlands; ty-laws committee, Messrs J. H. G. Shaw, R R. Kiddey, H. N. Taylor; appeals committee, Messrs N. R. James, R. Walker, W. Fergie, S. H. Clothier, H. N. Taylor.
