The cars have 1.3-litre twincam engines reputed to produce 140 b.h.p. * « « The British Marcos sports-prototype which has been entered for Le Mans has now been completed, and it will be powered by a 3-litre V 8 Repco-Brabham engine instead of the B.R.M. V-12 which was originally to have been fitted. The car is now being tested. * * * Ferrari will soon put into production a new large-capacity V-12 engine which will probably be used both in a new road Ferrari and in Ferrari entries in the Can-Am sports car series which starts in September. Different versions of the engine may range in capacity from 5.5litre to nearly 7-litres.
