RED CROSS STUDY DAY

A regional study day to make the activities of the Red Cross Society more generally known, particularly to some of the members, will be held at the Oxford subcentre of the society on May 8.

The programme, which will begin at 11 a.m., is being organised by the president of the sub-centre (Mrs A. P. Boyle) and will include addresses, discussions and slides with a taped commentary on Red Cross activities.

Speakers during the day will include the president of the North Canterbury centre (Mrs R. I. Brake), the secretary of the centre (Mr R. J. Lipscombe) and the centre organiser (Miss T. G. Eldridge).
