The applicant should have a higher degree preferably in some aspect of Preventive Dentistry and should have also had clinical expeirence in Pedodontics in a non-lnstftutionallsed practice if possible. It is essential that the candidate have some experience and interest in dental epidemiology and clinical research techniques particularly in the evaluation of dental caries control measures so that he may participate in addition to his own research in the existing research programmes in the Department.
