The Department of Medicine of the University comprises two University units: one at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and the other at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. The occupant of the Mortlock Chair of Medicine is Head of the University Department of Medicine and is based at the Royal Adelaide Hospital; the Michell Chair is held at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
