Pork Prices

Sir,—l am a pig farmer and the price paid today for pork (19c per lb) is the lowest I have ever received. I am told that because of buyers’ resistance there is an oversupply and that prices will drop further. But butchers have not reduced their prices and are still charging 45c-47c per lb. Is this not a case for the Price Tribunal or the Trade Practices Division?— Yours, etc.. GOING BROKE. January 24, 1968.
