GREYMOUTH CLUB
Meeting Next Month (N.Z. Press Association) GREYMOUTH. The Greymouth Racing Club has applied to the New Zealand Racing Conference for permission to hold a meeting at Omoto on February 24. A meeting of the club was abandoned in December. The club has applied for seven races, and will reserve the right to hold one further race if nominations warrant it. The feature race will carry stake money of $lOOO. The other open event, a sprint, will have $BOO in stake money. The rest of the programme will comprise three hack and two maiden races.
