(N.Z. Press Assn. —Coppriphtl STOCKHOLM. A call by the Swedish Lawn Tennis Association to the world’s tennis nations to Join the Swedish propos_l for an emergency meeting to discuss the open championships had met with a positive reaction, according to Mr S. Heyman, general secretary of the association. Sixty votes were needed to force through a meeting, but this number has already been exceeded, he said. The countries supporting the Swedish proposal are England, the United States, New Zealand, Belgium, Holland and Finland. They have a total of 66 votes in the International Lawn Tennis Association. “Soon after we knew that we had the necessary votes,” said Mr Heyman, “we wired England asking for an emergency meeting which must be held before April 22 when England
