Betting Down At Washdyke
There were betting decreases all round on the first day of the South Canterbury Jockey Club’s cup meeting at Washdyke yesterday. Course patrons invested $57,122, $7040 less than on the corresponding day last year. The off-course figure dropped bv $25,516.50 to $80,637.
