Extended Bar Hours

Sir, —Good luck to all barmen in their struggle for decent wages and conditions! So far our union leaders have done well for them, and surely the high cost of living does point the way. We hospital orderlies will be going into conciliation in a few weeks. With ill-will to none, we hope that our low wages and poor conditions will be brought to a standard similar to those ruling of a barman. —Yours, etc., HOSPITAL ORDERLY. October 9, 1967.
