‘ATROCITIES BY ISRAEL’
Claim Made By Egyptians (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) CAIRO, July 13. An Egyptian official yesterday accused Israel of atrocities which he said would have impressed Hitler, United Press International reported. “I assure you, if Hitler should come back from the grave, he would be impressed,” the Foreign Under-Secretary, Mr Ahmed Hassan Elfekki, said. Mr Elfekki added, that the Egyptian Government did not know the number of Egyptians dead or how Middle East war prisoners were treated. He said Israel had refused to allow either the International Red Cross or the Vatican to effectively care for Arab war victims, both military and civilian, in Israelioccupied territory. Israel was charged by Mr Elfekki with 10 acts of atrocity and violations of the Geneva Convention.
