RESTAURANT NAMING

Ruling On Aust. Adjective (Special Crspdt. N.Z.P.A.) SYDNEY, July 13. The New South Wales At-torney-General, Mr K. M. McCaw, has been asked to give a ruling on the use of the great Australian adjective. He must decide whether a restaurant in the Sydney suburb of Neutral Bay can continue to use the name “The Bloody Steak.” . The restaurant’s owners, Christopher Crocker, aged 24, and Michele McAuley, aged 21, are appealing against the refusal of the Registrar of Companies to register the name on the grounds that it was “likely to cause offence.” The appeal has not yet reached Mr McCaw, but he told a reporter this week: “It is not Pygmalion likely to be successful.”
