Addington Inquiries
Gay Gordon was recommended for the schooling list after an inquiry had been held into his behaviour before the start of the Championship Mile at Addington Raceway on Satprday night. He was also barred from competing at any totalisator meeting or trials for three months.
An inquiry was held into the breaking of Laplander over the concluding stages of the Conference Handicap. It was decided to let the placings stand. An objection was lodged against fourth placing being awarded to Glen Dee in the Can-* terbury Park Stakes on the grounds of galloping. It was decided to relegate Glen Dee to fifth and promote Break Through to fourth. After the same race W. J. Doyle, the driver of Asia Minor, was fined £5 for driving with a foot out of the rest.
