Two-year-old Trotters

Oscar, a gelding by Johnny Globe from Norma’s Pride, owned and trained by N. L. Berkett, gained a decisive win in the Kindergarten Stakes, a non-totalisator race for two-year-old trotters at Addington Raceway on Saturday. The race over one mile carried a stake of £3OO.

Oscar was one of the leaders all the way and he won handily by six lengths from Kilarno (Larnie Scott-Kilmartin). Oscar’s stablemate, Carsonelli (Johnny Globe-Serenelli) finished a good third, ahead of Final Donn (Final Say-Donna Kaye), which was only a head back. Buckingham (Johnny Globe-Manana) tired to fifth.
