‘Clashes In China’

Fighting has broken out among cultural revolution organisations in China’s two biggest cities, Peking and Shanghai, according to an official newspaper in Peking. People have been injured and industrial production hampered, the "Peking Daily,” official organ of the recentlyformed Peking Municipal Revolutionary Committee, disdosed last night. The paper said the clashes in the have a total population of more than 17 million—stemmed from a new counter-attack by supporters of “the bourgeois reactionary line.”
