AUCKLAND, March 10.

Sales and profits of Motor Specialties, Ltd., Auckland, for the six months to December 31 were ahead of those for the corresponding period in 1965, directors announced today.

The interim dividend is unchanged at 5 per cent Directors say in their interim report that they anticipate that unless there was a sudden financial deterioration in the industry, the result for the full year to June 30 would compare favourably with that for last year. Last Year’s Profit

In the year to June 30 last profit jumped 27.1 per cent to £217,606, earned at the rate of 12.3 per cent cm ordinary funds and 22.6 per cent on ordinary capital. Dividend was held at 11 per cent.

The interim ordinary dividend and the interim prefer-

ence dividend of 2} per cent are payable on April 14, shares becoming ex dividend on April 1.
