T.D.G. Cuts Div.

Transport Development Group, Ltd., lifted group profit slightly from 8.72 million dollars to a record 8.77 m dollars in the year to December 31, but has cut total dividend from 13f to 12} per cent T.D.G., the UJC-based transport group, is listed on Sydney Stock Exchange as a re-
suit of its take-over in 1964 of local transporter, Cargo Distributors. The latest result is after increasing tax from 3.5 m dollars to 4.3 m and lifting depreciation from 4.4 m to 5.4 m.
Apart from the net profit, the company made a capital profit of 522,500 dollars in the latest year. The company will pay a final dividend of 8} per cent on May 19.
