Hydatids
Sir,—You recently reported a serious case of hydatids within the Eyre County, together with the fact that this area has a clean record from its dog-testing reports. However, it should be noted that at a meeting of the Waimairi County Council in July, the first positive case of true hydatids was reported, with the further information that this was from a dog recently purchased from the Eyre County area.—Yours, etc., OBSERVER.
