Amino-Acids In Plants
Some aspects of non-pro-tein amino-acids in plants were dealt with by Professor L. Fowden, professor of plant chemistry at the University College of London, in an address to members of the Institute of Chemistry and the Royal Society last evening. Professor Fowden was elected a fellow of the Royal Society in 1964 for his work in discovering new aminoacids in plants and for his contribution to the elucidation of their significance.
