Vice-Regal Visit

WELLINGTON, Aug. 29,

The Governor-General (Sir Bernard Fergusson) and Lady Fergusson will visit Marlborough and Canterbury in October.

They will fly from Wellington to Blenheim on October 9 and motor to Kaikdura the next day. On October 11 they will motor to Cheviot, and on October 12, continue to Christchurch.

That evening they will be present at a ceremony at the University of Canterbury at which the honorary degree of doctor of laws will be conferred on Sir Bernard Fergusson.

They will fly from Christchurch to Wellington on October 13.
