Telegram Delay
Advice has been received from the Canadian Government that difficulties in internal telegraph systems continue. The Chief Postmaster at Christchurch (Mr M. E. Wilson) said that until further notice telegrams to and from Canada would be subject to delay and acceptable only at the sender’s risk. Mr Wilson said that until further notice all telegrams to Canada must have the full postal address.
