Constable Hit With Bottle

AUCKLAND, August 29. Constable S. Mcßae was struck with a bottle by a man near Ponsonby road, Auckland, early on Sunday. He was in a satisfactory condition at Middlemore Hospital tonigh't. Constable Mcßae received a broken cheekbone. The police said he was driving along the Great North road when he saw men throwing bottles into the street. He was attacked when he stopped.
