Ten of the top Canterbury pacers will parade in the 2min llsec class pace to be run at 1.10 p.m. today at Addington Raceway. This race will be one of the highlights of an 11-race programme tc be run by the Canterbury Trotting Owners’ and Breeders’ Association. Among the entries for the main event are Lordship, which will start from 54 yards, Waitaki Hanover, which will start from 24 yards, and the two promising five-year-olds. Golden Oriole and Doctor Barry. A number of horses engaged at the Kurow meeting on Saturday are in the fields for slow-class horses, while a fairly high proportion of the horses engaged at the National meeting. which opens on Saturday week, are also down to race.
