Roofers’ and Tilers’ New Award
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 27. Wage increase of 4Jd an hour are included in an award for Wellington, Marlborough, Nelson and Westland roofers, tilers and floor layers issued today by the Arbitration Court. The rates range from £l6 4d weekly for roofers laying tiles or other materials, to £l4 16s 8d for labourers, and are retrospective to June 6.
