NEWSPAPER STRIKE
N.Y. Again Affected (N.ZP A.-Reuter —Copyright) NEW YORK, April 25. A strike which one union leader said may last for months, deprived New Yorkers today of three of their big daily newspapers. This is the third time in Four years that New York has been harried by a newspaper strike. The dispute this time centres on compensation for 2000 workers who lose their jobs under plans to merge three papers into two.
