New cookery books published by the Women’s division of Federated Farmers were distributed to members of the Harewood West branch at Its annual meeting recently. Officers elected are: president, Mrs K. Watson; secretary, Mrs R. B. Arnott; treasurer, Mrs E. R. Hudson; vice presidents, Mesdames G. Nunweek and R. B. Arnott; committee, Mesdames J. W. Tulett, W. J. Wilson, A. Shipley, K. A. Lennox, W. Strathdee, F. Shipley; advisory members Mesdames Nunweek and Arnott; provincial voting delegates, Mesdames Watson, Arnott, Nunweek; competition stewards, Mesdames Murray, Tulett, and Wilson; press reporter, Mrs Wilson.

Hill; point secretaries, Mesdames Paintin and Bruce; housekeeping advisory, Mrs Oakley; trustees, Mesdames Pirika and Rowe; provincial delegates, Mesdames Rowe, Oakley, Pirika and Simms; judge, Mrs Simms.

Prefer Full-time Jobs.— Married women who go out to work prefer full-time jobs to part-time work, according to a survey covering Berkshire, Buckinghamshire. Hertfordshire,'Surrey and Sussex.
