The Oscar-winning actress, Patricia Neal, partly paralysed last year after three strokes, has been named best foreign actress of the year by the British Film Academy. American-born Miss Neal, aged 40, who had her fifth child last July, won the award for her performance to the Paramount film “In Harm’s Way.” The academy also named the American actor, Lee Marvin, as best foreign actor for his performances to “The Killers” and “Cat Ballou”. The British stairs, Julie Christie, aged 24, and Dirk Bogarde won the best British acting awards for their performances to the film “DarItn.” “My Fair Lady” was named as the best film from any source.
