Mr F. E. Harmer will retire from the boards of the New Zealand Shipping Company and the Federal Steam Navigation Company, Ltd., with effect from March 31. He will be succeeded as chairman of both companies by Mr C. A. W. Dawes, at present deputychairman. Mr H. T. Breazley, a managing director of both companies since 1957, will become deputy-chairman.— N.Z.P.A. Special.
