Woolsack Is Restuffed
(Special Crspdt. N.Z.P A.) LONDON, January 5. Men from the Ministry of Public Buildings and Works have restuffed the House of Lords Woolsack. It took 401 b of wool—imported from 12 parts of the Commonwealth at a cost of £40 —to fill the Woolsack, the traditional seat of the Lord Chancellor in the House. The present Lord Chancellor (Lord Gardiner) weighs 151 stone and the seat was beginning to sag.
