Girl Admitted To Probation

(N.Z. Prets Association) AUCKLAND, Jan. 5. Tarcissia Broughton, aged 19, an unemployed factory hand, -was released on 18 months’ probation by Mr H. Jenner Wily, S.M., today. She was convicted last week after pleading guilty to a charge of being idle and disorderly in that she had insufficient means of support. The police prosecutor said last week that Broughton had travelled in the freighter Hudson Deep from Auckland to Fiji and back.
