Summer Regent Injured
“The Press** Special Service AUCKLAND. The good stayer, Summer Regent, has injured a tendon and has had to be eased in training. He was top-weight for today’s Waikato Gold Cup but has now been scratched. His trainer. R. T. Cotter, said he did not know how bad the injury was. The horse was not sore, but the tendon was tender to touch.
