Confidence In Mr McKay (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON,' July 2. The Acting-Prime Minister (Mr Marshall) said today that the Government had complete confidence in the Minister of Health (Mr McKay) to deal With the problem of mental health. He told Parliament the Government believed Mr McKay was “proceeding on the night lines” to reach a solution. Speaking during the daylong debate on the Legislative Department estimates. Mr Marshall said the efforts Mr McKay was making to deal with staffing of mental hospitals deserved commendation, not criticism.
