Cancelled Radio Talk

Sir, —I, too, wish to protest at the decision of the Broadcasting Corporation to cancel the radio talk by Professor Hird in the programme. "Looking At Ourselves.” The Broadcasting Corporation’s controller of news and public affairs is reported to have said that in the scheduled talk only one side and one point of view were favoured. He said that he thought that both sides of the issue should be heard at the same time. If this is so. why did not this apply when the Prime Minister spoke recently on Vietnam on radio and television? i —Yours, etc., CRITICUS. June 2, 1965.
