Sir, —The Government is considering borrowing from the International Monetary Fund. This is no ordinary borrowing. Here is what the New York Times had to say on the subject with regard to Ghana (a country in similar difficulties to New Zealand): “There was, however, another possible source of aid in the International Monetary Fund.
