Chance Of Record

(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY. G. Moore has made a remarkable come-back in his bid to set a riding record this season. Two months ago Moore’s chance seemed remote but now he needs only 27 winners and has 22 meetings at which to get them. On recent performances the feat should be well within his reach. W. Cook holds the record with 124$ winners. Moore’s total is 98 after his great run of successes at the recent Randwick carnival. He rode 11 winners during the five meetings since Doncaster Handicap day last Saturday week.
