NUNS’ VISIT OVERSEAS

The Rev, Mother Cannela, matron of Calvary Hospital, Christchurch, the Rev. Mother Benedicta, Mother Provincial of the Little Company of Mary, and the Rev. Mother Baptist, in charge of the novices at Calvary Hospital, Wellington, have left New Zealand for Rome to attend the General Chapter of the order, which will start on April 9.

While overseas, the party will visit England, Ireland, and probably the United States, looking at hospitals, particularly psychiatric hospitals.

During the absence of Mother Carmela, the Christchurch Calvary Hospital will be in the charge of the Rev. Mother Rosalie.
