Two Killed In Race Crash

(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) LONGFORD (Tasmania), March 1. The Australian racing driver, Rocky Tresise, aged 23, and a trackside photographer were killed today when Tresise’s Cooper Climax car crashed off the track during the Australian Grand Prix.. Tresise died on the way to Launceston Hospital after the crash. Tresise was driving a car which belonged to Lex Davison, who was killed in practice at Sandown Park a week ago.

The Grand Prix field continued around the crash and drivers were flagged to lower speed as they passed the scene of the accident.
